About me:
I am a recent graduate of CSU Sacramento Teaching Credential Program, where I earned my multiple subject teaching credential. Previously at Sacramento State, I earned my BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science and currently I am working on a Internet Master's in Educational Technology. I see myself as a life long student. Upon completion of my Master's degree I plan to work in a K-6 classroom for two years to clear my teaching credential and then work at the district level as a technology specialist.

I am currently a second grade teacher at Stockton Unified School District. I am going into my 11th year of teaching and love what I do everyday! I have to admit I never questioned why I went into education, it's my passion to be the best for my students. Teaching is a gift, not everyone can do what we can!

I’m a wandering poet, wayward artist, errant student in iMET12, a life long member of the college campus community and an aspiring professor. I have always be exposed to education and the idea of teaching since grade school. I used to help my mother develop lesson plans for her preschool classes. Went into college with all intents and purpose in becoming a professor. Upon graduation I got way sided by the glamour of being a magazine editor - did short stints as a graphic designer for a marketing firm, client advocate for a non-profit agency, ad editor for a small newspaper. All through my meanderings I learned that I could never stay away from college too long. I'm always happy working on campus and learning. Found my niche at American River College and found out I got the mojo for technology and education so here I am!
About me:
I’m an instructor in graphic design at Sacramento City College. I’ve been there 4 years now, first as an adjunct and now full time, what a hoot. I love to teach and formerly was a software trainer for Apple Computer, and before that, owned my own greeting card design and manufacturing business with my sister. I’ve also been an art director and property master on numerous low budget films, an early employee of Joe Boxer, and a Coast Guard Officer. Design is a passion of mine and was ignited by the amazing professors I was lucky enough to have at UCLA.
